There’s no question that our lives are profoundly influenced by technology, beginning long ago with inventions from fire to computers. It all fits into the advancement of how technology has shaped our daily lives, right down to the breakfast table. Improvements with technology are unavoidable. As we are forced to adopt and use new advancements, it is somewhat uncomfortable. A lot of us old timers want to turn on the TV and change the channel in the streaming world, now it is almost as time-consuming as warming a vacuum tube.
Life was easy, but hard too. Now it is easy to be thankful for the technology advancements that have brought comfort to our lives that can’t be replaced. Lose your phone for a few hours and see how you feel. No doubt it would be hard to deal with a loss of any technology, but having to choose the root of its grand design comes from our own inventions. Wipe out mankind and the earth, and then we would reset our technologies. Would it be worth it, or living the memories of the romantic era be better?
