: Is your life today what you pictured a year ago?
A few photos from the road as seen
Road pictures are my favourites. Sometimes, looking out the front window of the RV to lay the Camera on the center line and snapping away until I’m done. Life on the road for us is the most rewarding pleasure ever. Living life day by day, hour by hour, in the time of our lives where nothing else matters. Each of these pictures tells a story of our travels. Some of these I can’t remember where we were. Others, the mountains give it away. Coming soon, a page for road photos only.

Following Tetonic’s
Looking over the map of the faults, the cruise we are taking follows the San Andreas fault up through Alaska. I say follows it is directly on top of the fault. There’s always activity near and under the ‘rim of fire’. With lots of hope, we will be able to see and visit the NW coast before it breaks off into the Pacific Ocean.

As Santa readies for the night.
On Christmas Eve, Santa, a jolly, fur-clad figure with twinkling eyes, arrives by sleigh, descends chimneys, fills stockings with toys, and departs, leaving behind only the quiet magic of Christmas, famously captured in ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, a classic tale of wonder and giving before sunrise.
The air crackled with silent anticipation. Inside the cozy home, little Lily was fast asleep, dreaming of sugarplums, while her parents hoped for a peaceful night. Above, on the frosty roof, Santa Claus adjusted his big red sack, his breath puffing white in the cold air. He wasn’t just busy; he was orchestrating magic.
His reindeer, Prancer and Dancer, Vixen and Comet, Dasher and Cupid, Donner and Blitzen, snorted softly, their hooves barely disturbing the snow. With a gentle whistle, Santa guided his sleigh, a silent, soaring shadow against the starry sky, weaving through clouds like a seasoned pilot.
Down, down, down he went, through the darkness, landing softly on the snowy lawn of the next house. A quick leap, a brush with soot, and he was in the living room, his twinkling eyes taking in the stockings hung with care. He chuckled, a deep, warm sound, as he filled each one with tiny treasures and candy canes, his movements swift and practiced, like a master craftsman.
He never lingered. A quick wink at a sleeping cat, a nod to the silent fireplace, and then back up the chimney he’d go, a flash of red and white disappearing into the night. “Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!” he’d whisper to the wind as his sleigh lifted, ready for the next twinkling light, the next hopeful home, ensuring every child woke to Christmas morning’s delight. The world slept on, unaware of the quiet, joyful work of the old elf, the true spirit of the night before.

An evening of voices in harmony, serenading us with the joys of our holiday.
Under the direction of Miss B, the South Lake choir delivered an exceptional, memorable performance that surpassed previous shows.
The event at Southlake High School captivated the audience. The choir director skillfully guided us through a repertoire that included both holiday selections and other notable pieces. Known as Miss B to her students, she is highly regarded for her engaging and dynamic approach to musical performance, which exceeded expectations on this occasion.
The students performed with notable enthusiasm and energy, creating a vibrant atmosphere even as they prepared. Overall, the experience was both impressive and inspiring.
Thank you, Miss Mary Jane, and the entire South Lake Choir, performing – Winter Wonderland in Florida.

I have never seen so many experts talking about things that get our attention, like clickbait. What is this without any knowledge of a person’s life? These so-called experts in their forties are telling us to just do this and do that to solve our every hurt or discomfort. These ‘experts’ on relationships have watched too much Dr. Phil.
Each of these people needs to shut up and not tell others how well they have lived or how long their struggles have endured. The amount of stress you have suffered over something that can be fixed or remedied with this one or two knee reactions comments… There you are fixed! Now subscribe so I can fill your head full of more of my opinions.
Having the mentality to just reach out, take someone’s advice, and apply a rule of thumb to your life doesn’t always work. Be careful of listening to bystanders posing as experts on how to live.
